Clinique de droit notarial

On January 31, 2006, the Civil Law Section of the Faculty of Law inaugurated the Clinique de droit notarial de l’Université d’Ottawa. The clinic, which is part of the applied learning offered to civil law students as they pursue their LLL degree, counts as a credit course where students apply their practical knowledge of the law while serving fellow citizens and participating in community life. Because of its socially oriented mission, the Clinic provides priority service to the economically disadvantaged, to community groups and to students. Still, its services are available to the general public as well, regardless of status or income.
