Pierre Martin,

President
Biography:
Pierre Martin moved from New Brusnwick in 1993 to study at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Social Sciences, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1996. He then earned an MBA at the University of Quebec in Montreal and is now completing a PhD in business administration at the University of Sherbrooke.
He has chaired the board of several regional and national organizations and has sat on a number of others, including major bodies like the board of governors of the University of Quebec. Pierre has served as chief executive officer and senior executive for several SMEs with international operations.
In addition to his role with the uOttawa Alumni Association, Pierre is a director for the Centre de santé et services sociaux de Chicoutimi (community health and social services centre), chair of the Centre's advisory committee on university teaching and research and a member of the business administration doctoral committee at the University of Sherbrooke.
He is also an accomplished tennis player, having won the Quebec college championship and several other major events in both Quebec and New Brunswick.
