Marlene Chamandy, CMA, CIA

Biography:
Marlene Chamandy graduated from the Telfer School of Management with an International MBA (IMBA) degree in 1997. Following graduation, she went on to work abroad, first in Istanbul, Turkey, then in London, England.
Marlene returned to Canada in 1999 and settled in Toronto. For the past 10 years, she has worked at the Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ltd. in Oakville, Ontario, where she has held various roles in finance and now serves as the internal control and dealer incentive audit manager.
In her fourth term serving on the Board, Marlene brings professional expertise in accounting, finance and controls to her current role as treasurer.
Never one to sit still for too long, Marlene enjoys trying new things. In her free time, she revels in pursuing fresh challenges, from training for a half marathon to learning Spanish. She also loves to travel and discover different cultures.
Marlene is the ultimate perfectionist, and she makes no excuses for it. Her go get 'em attitude has appropriately earned her the nickname 'Tiger' from friends and colleagues alike. But don't let that scare you!
