From Cockpits to Virtual Environments:
Simulated Learning Environments in Health
I got a score of 38 on my hearing test. What does this really mean and how does it affect my daily life? Learn more
about the impact simulation can have on your health at this event presented by the Faculty of Health Sciences!
New pedagogical approaches in universities are providing possibilities to better prepare students for the future
of the health professions. Our first speaker will talk about pilot training in virtual worlds. We will then explore
other uses of low and high fidelity simulated patients, online virtual worlds, and virtual realities for health professional
education and patient intervention.
