Conference: What if they don’t come? The role of immigration in Canada

The Faculty of Social Sciences is extending a special invitation to alumni to attend a bilingual panel entitled, What if they don’t come? The role of immigration in Canada.

Today, Canada’s intake of immigrants per capita is the highest in the world…but, what if they stop coming? What if immigrants decide to go elsewhere? As we face immigration decisions that have the potential to redefine tomorrow, we wonder about the role immigration plays in ensuring Canada’s prosperity.

You are invited to also take part in a Q&A with our panelists—and we fully expect the discussion to spill into the wine and cheese reception that follows!
