Is film pure fiction? What if film could open a window on the interplay between cultures and the search for identity experienced in a society such as Quebec? Professor Denis Bachand invites you to discover or rediscover the nuances and diversity of Quebec’s cinema, ranging from Monsieur Lazhar to Félix et Meira, along with Incendies and other unforgettable Quebec films.

During the Faculty of Arts Dean’s Lecture Series, the best Faculty professors and researchers are invited to present a lecture to University alumni on topics that affect our world today.
