Join us on Friday, May 8, 2015, for a lecture by Thomas L. Friedman, bestselling author of The World is Flat and columnist for The New York Times. Mr. Friedman is known for his thought-provoking analysis of complex issues and is a three-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize. He is the inaugural speaker of this year’s annual Alex Trebek Distinguished Lecture Series, which brings high profile speakers to campus every year during Alumni Week.

This lecture series is sponsored by Alex Trebek, alumnus of the University of Ottawa, philanthropist and host of the television game show Jeopardy! This annual lecture series provides an opportunity for students, alumni and residents of the National Capital Region to hear from renowned speakers on important topics related to public policy, social issues, business and entrepreneurship, science and technology as well as health and wellness.
